Critically acclaimed by the arts and theater communities, the Harris Center for the Arts provides a world-class teaching laboratory for the students and faculty of Folsom Lake College, as well as a much needed venue for over 50 regional dance troops, musical acts, theater companies, and other performing arts groups.
The main 850-seat proscenium theater with a full fly tower and orchestra pit accommodates campus and community performances as well as traveling national “road” productions. Complementing the main theater is a 200-seat studio theater and a 150-seat recital hall. These performance spaces are supported by complete scene and costume shops, small and large dressing rooms, green room, director’s studio, drama lab, choral room, recording studio, classrooms, fine arts lab, art gallery, and faculty offices. The Dean’s suite and Founder’s Room is set in a prominent location adjacent to the main lobby.
