Located in Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento and adjacent to Interstate 5, the new headquarters for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is a secure facility consolidating 600 employees. The pedestrian-oriented campus features connectivity between four buildings totaling 309,780 gross square feet. The project is the most recent and significant commercial development in this community and has become important to the identity of the City of Elk Grove. The two new buildings are LEED Gold certified and feature roof-mounted photovoltaic arrays.
